A Christian steward is — One who receives God's gift gratefully, cherishes and tends them in a responsible and accountable manner, shares them in justice and love with others, and returns them with increase to the Lord.
To this end, our Stewardship Committee works to develop opportunities for our parish members to serve, as well as look for ways to recruit participants to share their time, talents and resources with the parish community — making stewardship a way of life for our parishioners. The four pillars of stewardship are hospitality, prayer, formation and service — our committee strives to help parishioners to experience, witness and live the stewardship way of life.

Hospitality

Every visitor to our parish is Christ. When we welcome Christ in others, we welcome Him. Those who come to us seeking the Lord will most truly, tangibly and really experience Him in our warmth, greetings, smiles, conversations, and invitation to join us.
Prayer
"Pray always and never lose heart."
Luke 18:1
We welcome others to share with us the very centerpiece of our faith — the Eucharistic Liturgy. Gathered in the Holy Spirit, we adore our Father, we express contrition, we give Eucharistic thanks, and we ask in supplication. If the hub of our prayer is the weekly Eucharistic celebration, the spokes are Eucharistic Adoration in our special chapel, home prayers and Bible readings, and a strong personal daily prayer life. Prayer focuses the attention of the good steward on the Gentle Master, whom we serve. Prayer opens us up to His Holy Spirit, Who teaches us how to become better stewards of His gifts of time, talen and treasure.
Formation
"Speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him, who is the head, into Christ."

As good stewards of God's gifts, we are challenged to develop our gifts of knowledge, faith and love. Our parish offers several opportunities for us to better know our faith and to grow in our relationship with Christ and one another. CRHP weekends, parish missions and Bible studies give mature shape to our lives as disciples of Christ.
Service
"The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many."
Matthew 20:28
Our first commitment of service always is our families and relatives. We then seek opportunities to serve our parish family in the numerous opportunities for prayer, ministry and participation in social, educational, community and spiritual events. In all these, it is the Lord Whom we serve as we reach out in humble ministry to others in need in our parish or the community in which we live.
Receive God's gifts gratefully; use them responsibly; share them with others through your time, talent and treasure; and return God's gifts with increase in gratitude and joy.
